About

Built for the awkward questions in the close meeting

CloudOrbit started from closings inside southern Taiwan manufacturing finance — where operating budget variances are argued over in Mandarin and English, often with the plant manager in the room.

Mission

We help finance teams produce month-end variance analysis for operating budgets that operations leaders recognise as fair — specific causes, clear timing notes, and no invented stories.

Origin

Our practice grew from close-week work around Tainan’s industrial corridor, including teams near KuanTien. Controllers needed an outside pair of hands who understood both ledger extracts and shop-floor overtime stories. CloudOrbit remains a specialist practice: we do not pretend to be a full-service accounting firm.

How we work with clients

We borrow your close calendar rather than imposing ours. Materiality, owner interview windows, and pack format follow your leadership habits. We push back only when catch-all variance labels would mislead the meeting.

Values that show up in the pack

  • Specificity over polish — a rough but accurate cause beats a smooth empty sentence.
  • Owner voice — finance facilitates; managers still explain their lines.
  • Timing honesty — delayed invoices are labelled as timing, not as failures.
  • Local presence — plant visits when the numbers need the floor.
